  • The IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2010, 76th IFLA General Conference and Assembly

    The IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2010, 76th IFLA General Conference and Assembly will take place during August 10th-15th 2010 in the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre, Gothenburg, Sweden (Mässans Gata 20)

    The theme chosen for the 2010 Congress energizes and supports the Presidential Theme of IFLA President, Ellen Tise: Libraries driving access to knowledge.

  • 7th International Conference on Preservation of Digital Objects - iPRES 2010

    The 7th International Conference on Preservation of Digital Objects - iPRES 2010 - will be the seventh in the series and will be hosted by The Austrian National Library and the Technical University of Vienna during September 19th - 24th in Vienna (Austria).

    This conference aims at bringing bring together researchers and practitioners from around the world to explore the latest trends, innovations, and practices in preserving our digital heritage and re-emphasising that preserving our scientific and cultural digital heritage requires integration of activities and research across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to adequately address the challenges in digital preservation. iPRES 2010 also will further strengthen the link between digital preservation research and practitioners in memory institutions and scientific data centres.

  • The 14th European Conference on Research and Advanced Technology for Digital Libraries (ECDL) 2010

  • COLLIN 2010 - 1st Symposium on Collective Intelligence

    The COLLIN 2010 Symposium will provide a platform to share ideas and information between scientists and also between scientists and practitioners.

    DigitalPreservationEurope (DPE), Preservation and Long-term Access through Networked Services (Planets), Cultural, Artistic and Scientific knowledge for Preservation, Access and Retrieval (CASPAR) and Network of expertise in Digital long-term preservation (Nestor) will deliver a collaborative training initiative to introduce the Principles of Digital Objects Preservation. This event will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from October 13th-17th, 2008
